This beautiful old church building dominates the square where it overlooks a statue of St Istvan and Fisherman's Bastion.
The Matthias Church is finally being renovated after many years of neglect. The church building is known for it colourful tiled roof and thanks to the ongoing renovations the outer facade of the church looks much better now that it did just a few years ago. The inside of the church is painted with interesting and historically significant murals and costs around 300ft to enter.
